Kathmandu District, Nepal: On june 10 2024, a momentous stride as Sambad Foundation, driven by its commitment to youth empowerment and cultural preservation, inaugurates the Kathmandu District Committee. This endeavor unites enthusiastic minds from 16 distinct districts across Nepal.
Diverse Representation, Unified Vision: The committee proudly brings together representatives from a diverse range of districts including Kathmandu, Parsa, Dhanusha, Rautahat, Sankhuwasabha, Saptari, Baglung, Okhaldhunga, Sarlahi, Bara, Mahottari, Surkhet, Nuwakot, Siraha, and Sindhuli.
Dynamic Leadership: The selection process for the Kathmandu District Committee has culminated in the appointment of a motivated leadership team:
- Coordinator: Pradip Gurung (Sankhuwasabha)
- Co-Coordinators: Pratima Bhandari (Sindhupalchok) & Bikash Thakur (Mahottari)
- Member Secretary: Rohan Das (Sarlahi)
Unveiling Departmental Excellence: As per Sambad Foundation’s visionary approach, beyond the core leadership, 12 dedicated members from various districts have been appointed to six pivotal departments:
- Blood Management Department
- Public Relations Department
- Sports Department
- Art and Culture Department
- Communication and Social Media Department
- Training and Advocacy Department
Harnessing Youth Potential: Aligned with the foundation’s core vision, every member, excluding the coordinators and member secretary, is entrusted with a specialized department, amplifying their capabilities and fostering holistic growth.
The Journey Continues: This remarkable initiative follows Sambad Foundation’s successful establishment of eight district committees in Madhesh Pradesh. The visionary journey further extends with the formation of a Regional Committee under the dynamic leadership of Nabin Sah.
