Sambad Foundation Bara Team Successfully Conducts a Series of Community Engagement Programs

As part of its ongoing commitment to community development, youth engagement, public health, and social responsibility, Sambad Foundation Bara Team successfully organized and participated in a series of impactful programs between 28 February and 7 March 2026. These initiatives reflected the Foundation’s mission of fostering dialogue, civic responsibility, community well-being, and positive social change.

Cleanliness Program-28 February 2026

On 28 February 2026, the Bara Team organized a Cleanliness Program with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, public hygiene, and community responsibility. Volunteers, youth members, and local residents actively participated in the campaign, cleaning public spaces and encouraging community members to adopt sustainable sanitation practices.

The initiative served as a reminder that maintaining a clean environment is a shared responsibility and an essential step toward building healthier and more livable communities.

Civil Society Cup 1-2 March 2026

Continuing its efforts to strengthen community collaboration and youth participation, Sambad Foundation Bara Team took part in the Civil Society Cup, held on 1–2 March 2026. The event brought together representatives from civil society organizations, youth groups, and community leaders through friendly sporting competition.

Beyond promoting sportsmanship and healthy competition, the Civil Society Cup created opportunities for networking, teamwork, mutual understanding, and stronger partnerships among organizations working for social development. The event highlighted the importance of unity and collective action in addressing community challenges.

Mental Health and Stress Management Training-7 March 2026

On 7 March 2026, Sambad Foundation Bara Team successfully conducted a Mental Health and Stress Management Training at Shree Nepal Rastriya Secondary School, Kalaiya–13, Balirampur. The training aimed to raise awareness about mental well-being and equip participants with practical strategies for managing stress and maintaining emotional resilience.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Samikshya Neupane, a member of the Sambad Foundation Bara Committee. The program included informative presentations, interactive discussions, practical exercises, and a participatory workshop that encouraged open dialogue on mental health and emotional well-being.

Approximately 70 participants, including students, teachers, and community members, actively engaged in the training. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Rajan Prasad Kurmi, Mr. Rajesh Mehta, and Mr. Awadh Kishor Giri, along with respected teachers and social activists. Their presence reinforced the importance of promoting mental health awareness and creating supportive environments for young people and communities.

Through this initiative, Sambad Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to addressing mental health as an essential component of individual and community well-being. By engaging youth, educators, and community leaders, the Foundation continues to promote awareness, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and encourage healthy dialogue on emotional well-being.
