On August 23, 2024, the Sambad Foundation held a successful two day ‘Review and Core Peer Meeting’ in the city of Janakpurdham, Madhesh Province. This important meeting brought together young leaders and members from more than 16 districts. Everyone who attended is dedicated to working hard to improve their communities and make a positive difference.
Celebrating Achievements & Welcoming New Members The event opened by bringing together passionate youth and dedicated delegates from over 16 districts committed to driving meaningful change in their communities. The program was held under the theme “Rastya Nirman Ma Balbalikako Bhumika,” emphasizing the role of children and youth in nation-building. The event began with a special ceremony where past competition winners were honored and awarded prizes, recognizing their achievements and contributions. Representatives from all 16 participating districts actively engaged in sharing their experiences and perspectives, making the gathering highly interactive and impactful. New members from Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, and Saptari were warmly welcomed into the Sambad family, adding fresh energy and ideas to the network. Representatives from each district shared their past achievements and future visions, followed by engaging discussions on strengthening youth participation and expanding the impact of Sambad Foundation’s initiatives.

The discussions centered on strengthening youth participation, enhancing program effectiveness, and expanding Sambad Foundation’s outreach across Nepal. The shared visions and forward-looking strategies reflected the collective commitment to make upcoming initiatives more fruitful, sustainable, and community-driven.
Cultural Enrichment: Visit to Maithili Vikas Kosh The team also visited the Maithili Vikas Kosh building an inspiring institution dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and decentralizing cultural activities. This visit added meaningful depth to the event, reminding all participants of the importance of culture, identity, and community pride in the work of Sambad Foundation.
