On January 14, 2025, the Sambad Foundation held a special meeting with young women leaders from several districts to talk about important social issues. The program included expert talks, group activities, and creative performances. It was a great way for everyone to learn more and plan future work on topics like labor, fair pay, women’s health, and media literacy.

- Ramita Shah, “Labor Economics”: presented practical insights into labor-management relationships and strategies for improving workplace effectiveness.
- Aastha Pandit, “Just Wages”: examined ethical pay practices and approaches to promote fair compensation in local businesses and institutions.
- Kajal Yadav “Abortion Ethics”: offered a thoughtful exploration of ethical, social, and rights-based aspects of abortion.
- Anjali Baitha “Menstrual Health”: delivered a compelling PowerPoint presentation advocating for menstrual-health awareness, hygiene, and support systems for women and girls.
- Kajal Yaduvanshi Closing/creative piece: (Member Secretary, Sambad Dhanusha) recited an original poem, adding a poignant, reflective close to the session.
Facilitation and participation
- The session was expertly hosted by Sujit Kapari, ensuring smooth transitions and strong audience engagement.
- Chair Kumar Bhaskar delivered the endnote, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to youth and women’s leadership.
- Attendees included Sambad members, youth delegates from Dhanusha, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, invited guests, and local community members. Sambad Media provided live coverage and documentation.
