Birgunj, Nepal

Sambad Foundation Parsa, in collaboration with Community Youth Bara District (20–26), successfully organized “Khulla Aakash: Understanding SRHR, Boundaries and Choices” in Birgunj. The program aimed to create a safe and inclusive space for young people to learn, engage in dialogue, and strengthen their understanding of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), personal boundaries, informed decision-making, and individual choices.

The event brought together enthusiastic young participants, community members, and youth leaders for meaningful discussions on topics that are essential for building informed, confident, and responsible communities. Through interactive sessions and open conversations, participants explored the importance of respecting personal boundaries, promoting gender equality, making informed choices, and creating supportive environments where young people can openly discuss issues affecting their health and well-being.

A special note of appreciation goes to Ms. Sameekshya Neupane and her team, along with Sambad Foundation Bara, for representing the voices of youth through their inspiring speeches and active participation. Their contributions encouraged constructive dialogue and motivated participants to become advocates for awareness, respect, and positive social change within their communities.

The program reflected the shared commitment of Sambad Foundation and its partners to empowering young people through education, dialogue, and active civic participation. By creating platforms for learning and meaningful engagement, the initiative contributed to building greater awareness, confidence, and leadership among youth.

Sambad Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Community Youth Bara District (20–26), the facilitators, speakers, volunteers, participants, and all supporters whose collaboration made the event a success. The Foundation remains committed to connecting, supporting, and empowering young people through impactful programs that promote knowledge, inclusion, leadership, and social responsibility.
