Following the motto ‘Ignorance of the law is no excuse, Sambad Foundation Kaski successfully held a Legal Awareness Program on May 19, 2025, in partnership with Baglung Municipality-1. The program was designed to help local people learn about important laws and to make it easier for everyone to get justice.
The initiative was designed to:
Raise public awareness about legal rights and responsibilities.
Educate citizens, especially women and children, about their legal entitlements and protections.
Highlight the growing concerns around social media use and cybercrime.
Provide knowledge about the role of Judicial Committees and the availability of free legal services at the community level.
Their presentations provided participants with practical insights into legal frameworks that directly impact their daily lives.

The event was chaired by Mr. Sumit Bishwakarma, Coordinator of Sambad Foundation Kaski, and moderat-ed by Ms. Prashansa Sharma, Secretary of the Foundation. Their leadership and facilitation ensured that the program ran smoothly and effectively reached its objectives.
