On March 31, 2025, the Sambad Foundation Valley Coordination held a ‘Welcome and Orientation Program’ to bring new members from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur into the group. The event was used to share the foundation’s goals, set up new working teams, and thank the volunteers for their great help.
The program began with an engaging introduction by Prabhat, who set a positive tone for the day and welcomed participants with enthusiasm. The session was formally chaired by Central President Kumar Bhaskar, under whose leadership the program proceeded with purpose and inspiration.

Khushi, Lalitpur Coordinator, warmly welcomed all new members, encouraging active involvement in upcom-ing initiatives.
Supriya, Kathmandu Coordinator, and Dibesh, Bhaktapur Coordinator, delivered detailed presentations on Sambad Foundation’s mission, achievements, and future goals, ensuring new members gained a clear under-standing of the organization’s role in empowering communities and promoting culture.
One of the key highlights of the event was the reformation of working committees for all three districts-Kath-mandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. This restructuring was undertaken to strengthen organizational efficiency, ensure better coordination, and empower district-level leadership. New members were officially welcomed and introduced, building a stronger bond between existing teams and fresh entrants.

Recognition of Volunteers
In a heartfelt segment, volunteers who contributed to the grand success of the Janakpur International Film Festival (JIFF) were honored with Certificates of Appreciation. The certificates were presented by the distin-guished Chief Guest, veteran Nepali actor Bhola Raj Sapkota, who commended the dedication and spirit of the volunteers.
The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Central President Kumar Bhaskar, who congratulated the newly restructured committees and encouraged new members to embrace the foundation’s mission with passion. A short Q&A session followed, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly and share their thoughts.
