Kaski District Team Formation

On June 23, 2024, the Sambad Foundation started a new team in the Kaski District. This team was created to help the local community grow, support young people, and protect our culture. The team was officially launched with Central President Kumar Bhaskar and other leaders, including Khusi Chaurasiya, Anjali Baitha, and Bikram Bk.

Leadership

  • Co-coordinators: Swastika Acharya, Pratiksha Poudel
  • Member Secretary: Prasansa Sharma
  • Core Members (selected): Laxmi Rawal, Puspa Chaudhary, Himani Bhandari, Ganesh Giri, Gaurav Kumar Jha, Sanjay Yadav, Shanti BK, and other active volunteers.

Purpose and Priorities

  • Strengthen community engagement and grassroots outreach in Kaski.
  • Promote youth empowerment through training, leadership development, and participation.
  • Preserve and celebrate local cultural heritage through events and awareness activities.
  • Improve coordination with provincial and neighboring district teams for shared initiatives.

Immediate Next Steps

  • Convene an inaugural planning meeting to set short-term priorities and assign responsibilities.
  • Compile and share a contact list and communication channel for the Kaski team.
  • Draft a 3-month action plan with measurable goals (community activities, youth programs, cultural events).
  • Launch 1–2 quick-win activities—e.g., an awareness drive or a community planting/activity—to build momentum.
